PRIDE MOBILITY PRODUCTS® CORPORATION IS THE WORLD’S LEADER IN THE DESIGN,

1986 |
The Pride Mobility Products story begins from humble beginnings when the Meuser and Kretchik families started manufacturing lift chairs at a small building on Main Street in Pittston, Pennsylvania. |
1992 |
With Pride’s lift chairs an industry leader, Pride expands into the mobility scooter market, including the widelypopular Shuttle scooter. Pride Mobility® Scooters offer an industry first — models incorporating sleek styling and offering options and accessories to meet the personal preferences of consumers. |
1996 |
Based on consumer need, Pride innovates the acclaimed Jazzy® Power Chair, of fering industry- leading maneuverability with its patented mid-wheel drive technology. The Jazzy is immediately recognized as among the most stylish, maneuverable and natural-feeling power chairs ever designed. |
1998 |
Pride enters the international market, with subsidiaries in Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia, soon expanding into other countries. |
2000 |
Pride forms Quantum Rehab®, a division dedicated to the design and manufacturing of complex rehab technology. Quantum’s cutting edge power bases, seating, and electronics mark a new standard in tailored-fit, quality, performance and adaptability for those with advanced mobility needs. |
2001 |
The Dynamo pediatric mid-wheel power chair is released, bringing a new level of independence and maneuverability for children with mobility needs. |
2002 |
Recognizing the need for superior pressure management cushions and backs, Pride innovates Synergy® Cushions and Backs. |
2003 |
TRU-Balance® Power Positioning Systems are launched, bringing new levels of comfort, adjustability, aesthetics and durability to power seating. |
2004 |
As the global leader in scooters, Pride revolutionizes the industry with the Go Go® Travel Scooter, an ultra-compact, lightweight mobility product that easily disassembles to make transport even easier for consumers to enjoy wherever they go. With its popularity, the Go Go line rapidly expands. |
2005 |
Pride acquires SilverStar Mobility vehicle lifts (later renamed Pride® Lifts & Ramps), a division dedicated solely to vehicle lift systems. |
2006 |
Pride celebrates its 20th year of operation, taking a strong leadership role within the mobility industry to meet challenging legislative changes head on. The Jazzy® Power Chair’s 10th birthday is marked by the launch of the Jazzy Select® Series, an advancement in design and value. |
2007-2010 |
Pride further evolves the most advanced design, research and development, and testing infrastructure in the industry. Product advancements continue, including the Victory® Scooter Series and the industry-leading Quantum® Q6 Edge® complex rehab power chair. |
2011 |
Pride releases its Rental Ready products to provide innovative, durable solutions in the rental environment. |
2012 |
The Rival® rear-wheel-drive power chair sets a new standard in user comfort with its rugged, absorbent power base suspension design. |
2013 |
Evolving the Go Go® line, Pride launches the Go Go® LX with CTS Suspension, the most comfortable travel mobility scooter on the market. |
2014 |
Pride and Quantum acquire Stealth Products®, a complex rehab leader in seating systems, positioning components, alternative drive controls, and pediatric products. |
2015 |
iLevel® technology is launched on the new Q6 Edge® 2.0 Power Chair. iLevel is the first power-elevating seating system that allows standing-height operation at 10” of lift in 16 seconds at up to 3.5 mph. |
2016 |
The Jazzy Air® introduces a new era in retail power mobility — it’s social mobility. The Jazzy Air features the elegance of 10” of seat elevation while driving at 3.5 mph, to allow enhanced environmental access and social interaction. |
2017 |
Quantum’s revolutionary iLevel technology is upgraded to allow up to 12” of lift at 3.5 mph with standard LED fender lights. The Q-Logic 3 Advanced Drive Control System is also released, offering a user-friendly and highly customizable expandable control system. The 4Front® front-wheel drive power chair, featuring SRS (Smooth Ride Suspension), is also launched. Pride also launched VivaLift!® Power Recliners. |
2018 |
Quantum launches the Edge® 3 with 4.5 mph iLevel® and a new app, Interactive Assist. Pride launches the Jazzy Air® 2. |
2019 |
Pride launches the Jazzy Select®, the Wrangler and the Victory® LX Sport. |
2020 |
Quantum introduces the Edge 3 Stretto®. Pride launches the Zero Turn Series and the iRIDE®. |
2021 |
Quantum launches the 4Front® 2 and the 4Front® 2 HD. Pride introduces the Jazzy® EVO 613 Series, the Go Go® Endurance and the VivaLift!® Radiance. |
2022 |
The company’s headquarters moved to the newly renovated, state-of-the-art Duryea facility. Baja™ Mobility kicked off a lineup of outdoor scooters. Pride launched the Jazzy® Carbon. Quantum launched TRU-Balance® 4 Power Positioning Systems with Anterior Tilt. |
2023 |
Quantum introduces the R-TRAK, the company’s first rear-wheel drive powerchair in over a decade. The Baja Mobility lineup continues to expand with the Baja Bandit and Baja Raptor 4-Wheel scooters. Pride adds the PX4 and Pursuit 2 to its outdoor scooter lineup and introduces the Jazzy Air® MED, a Medicare-reimbursable powerchair with 12” of power seat elevation. |
