If you plan on using your scooter for "indoor mobility" only, you should be mindful of the size of doorway openings and threshold height.

INDOOR/OUTDOOR

Plan on using a scooter to explore both indoors and outdoors, keep in mind the following before making your purchase: can the scooter fit in your home, through doorways openings and over thresholds? Are your walkways paved, or have compact gravel outside to easily maneuver?

OUTDOOR ONLY

Planning on only using your scooter for outside use. Make sure your scooter has a full suspension system and lighting package for a smooth, comfortable ride, even in low light. Understand, an outdoor scooter will be ready for all kinds of terrain, but nothing too extreme.
